Visit King George Tourism Grant Application
Visit King George Tourism grants require that events, marketing campaigns, and initiatives are at least four months out from when the application is submitted. The process to review and approve funding for a tourism application can take up to two months depending upon the Tourism Advisory Committee and Board of Supervisor meeting dates. It is highly encouraged to plan accordingly if the event is dependent upon grant funding.
It is recommended that applicants be present before the Tourism Advisory Committee and Board of Supervisors during their application review to answer questions regarding their tourism initiative. Grant awardees are required to either present or submit an after-action report detailing the initiative's efforts to increase tourism activity in King George County.
